Take2Therapy Counselling & Psychotherapy for Richmond, Twickenham, Teddington

Thinking clearly... finding freedom.

Hello - welcome!

Both my Professional Coaching business and my Psychotherapy practice are about change.

That doesn't mean trying harder and harder to make the same thing work - after all, it was good old Albert Einstein who observed...

"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again
- and expecting a different outcome."

Take2 or TakeTwo, originally came from when I had an office in the old Teddington TV Studios. When the clapperboard snapped shut, the new "take" was rolling. It also means that in life we have more than one chance - and more than one way - to achieve our dreams and goals, to reinvent ourselves, to experience satisfaction and achievement. We can "take two"... three or four... or more!

Take Two Coaching

Coaching with me is about clearing a pathway - taking progressive steps towards your desired future. I don't believe in quick-hits or waving the carrot and stick - its about long-lasting change, with integrity. And its about having a very productive and enlightening journey getting there. I focus on three major life transitions:

Entrepreneurs who are staring succession in the face, but who find it hard to approach it in a positive, productive and passionate way;
Expat spouses/partners who have up-rooted their own careers, families and homes, identity and support circle, to move overseas (from and to the UK) and who wonder just how they’re going to re-establish themselves;
Singles - those who now find themselves living a life on their own – and don’t like it / and those who love it, but want more.

Take Two Coaching is global - I welcome clients from the UK, throughout Europe, Australasia, Hong Kong, Singapore and America. If we can link up face-to-face via secure conferencing software, then I look forward to meeting you in any country.

Take2Therapy

After 2 years of trialling my specialised Walk&Talk Therapy practice, I have selected this as my one therapeutic offering. Why? Because my therapy clients have helped me prove it to be one of the very best techniques to loosen up the left and right brain hemispheres and mobilise stuck memory. Please see Walk&Talk on the Menu above.

I reserve just a few client appointments each week specifically for Walk&Talk - it is an advanced technique, which has proven to shift emotions quicker than sit-down-and-talk therapy. Being out in the air is also a great mood buster and being in nature puts you more in touch with yourself.

Walk&Talk will appeal to clients in the Teddington, Richmond, Hampton, Kingston, SW London and Surrey areas - and also in the Isle of Wight, where I work part-time.

Whether we coach together or you make strides with Walk&Talk Therapy, I will invite you to explore your life values - what you’d like to stand up for in life; what you’d like to be known or remembered for. When you know (and practice) what you really stand for - you become unshakeable. Your true values shape everything you do - and define your relationships - and we will keep returning to them throughout our sessions together.

If you are unsure what would be the best way forward for you, then do please ask. Not everyone is suited to coaching - and not everyone needs therapy. One size does not fit all, when it comes to clarity and freedom.

Take2Therapy offers Walk & Talk psychotherapy / counselling in the London Borough of Richmond, Teddington and in the Isle of Wight.
